Well this last week was HOMECOMING! It was very fun. The German students were up here for 3 weeks, and they are so nice. I'm gonna be so sad when they leave on tomorrow. For Homecoming we had the weirdest (maybe not) dress up days. Monday:
Uniform day. Everyone had to wear a black shirt and blue jeans. Tuesday:
'Murica day. Dress up in America's red, white, and blue! Wednesday:
Hawaiian day. You know. Thursday:
Rival Day. Dress up in a different schools outfits/ colors, for my school it is Blue Devils (Blue and White), but I decided to borrow some of my Ex's stuff which is the Rangers (Red and yellow) Most people (which I figured would happen) Dressed up as the Golden Bears (Gold/yellow and black). Friday:
Blue Devil Pride Day! Dress in your school spirit! I find it a little funny that some students (and teachers) on Rival Day actually just wore the Blue Pride stuff instead of anti-pride stuff. Oh well, it made that day interesting Friday:
The dress up day of Blue Pride day was also the Homecoming game and dance! I didn't go to the game because I didn't want to spend the money to sit in the cold. I hung out with my friend Kyle and Joey until the game was over and met up with the rest of my friends to go the dance. Which was a blast. I haven't been to a dance in a long while so it felt nice to go and do something fun. I love the dances we have. It gives our small lame town something to do. I was sweating like a freaking, I took like 5 mini breaks and then 1 big break. Really, I never stopped dancing. I was sweating in places a person should NOT be sweating in... And I feel kinda bad because some kid threw up in the middle of the dance floor. I don't know who it was and I don't need to know. He/She probably feels humiliated enough as it is. It happens, I've done it in public too. It just gets awkward when a friend asks "Why's it pink?" Jee... well your at a dance that only sells candy, chips, pop, and water... Hmmmmm. LOL. Saturday:
I slept in a little bit because the dance went until midnight, and I refused to go to bed all sweaty and gross. So I possibly went to bed around 1 AM-ish. Then I force myself to get up at 11:30. I went and started doing my annual chores. After I did my half I got ready and went to ~mikuni21
's house. Who was with her German student Kathi! (I lurvs her
). After about and hour or two, ~LoveAllSweets
texted us off Katie's phone. The three of us walked all the way to our local McDonalds which was many many many blocks away. We get into Katie's van and the 5 (teenage girls) start talking an hour long trip to Duluth! Which was a blast. We blarred music, and the first song we played was "Barbie Girl by Aqua" LAWL! We went to Duluth so Kathi could go shopping and check out the haunted ghost ship. We went out to eat, got scared by the ship. Then we wanted ice cream... but we got lost. AFTER we got out of them mess we found the best ice cream shop ever and sat in the shop nomming away. And POOF we see our friend Matt, his brother Josh, and his German Danny there to with their parents. So we all sat around a small table being super loud and conversing in the small ice cream shop playing with trivia questions. After about an hour, the 3 boys decide to come with us. We went to go see "Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs 2" (which was a cute/funny movie). We ended up getting there an hour early so we played in the arcade they have... again being loud and childish (tee-hee). Then the movie started! After the movie all 8 of us started heading home chanting and singing, having a great old time!www.facebook.com/photo.php?v=4…
This is what we do.... XDSunday:
Well after our road trip we didn't get back until midnight once again! And again I showered, but I was so happy and hyped up I didn't want to sleep! I stayed up until 3 AM listening to music and thinking about my Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (because I'm a freak like that). Then morning came and I got to sleep in! No church
Then I got up, made my grandma her cake, got dressed and went to go visit her! I love her so much. She's my hero! I had the greatest weekend ever!
I hope you did too!
